Suppliers and Retailers

We pledge-

• not to replenish stock of targeted ILB from 26.03.2013 (or a prescribed date, whichever is later) onwards; and
• not to sell targeted ILB from 31.12.2013.

Trade associations

We strongly support-

• not replenishing stock of targeted ILB from 26.03.2013 (or a prescribed date, whichever is later) onwards; and
• not selling targeted ILB from 31.12.2013.

Users

We pledge-

• to refrain from procuring targeted ILB for general lighting purposes; and
• to adopt more energy-efficient lighting.

Note:

Targeted ILB includes non-reflector type ILB of 25 watt (W) or above, which operates at a single phase electricity supply of nominal voltage of 220 volts (V) including General Lighting Service lamps, candle shape, fancy round and other decorative lamps, but excluding tungsten halogen lamps.
